Christoph Christian von Knorr (born May 9, 1740 in Vienna ; † November 29, 1803 ) was a Habsburg general .

Life

Christoph Christian, Freiherr von Knorr , was a son of Emperor Karl VI. raised to knighthood Georg Christian Knorr . He joined the imperial army, was an ensign in the 10th Infantry Regiment and was wounded on October 1, 1756 in the battle of Lobositz . In 1758 he became a lieutenant, in 1761 a captain, in 1773 a major, in 1784 a colonel and in 1801 kk major general.

He was a member of the Prague Masonic Lodge "To the 3 Crowned Pillars". His marriage to Susanne Künert remained childless.
