Christoph Dreyer (born June 17, 1966 in Sarstedt ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

After attending school in Gleidingen and Laatzen , Dreyer trained as an insurance salesman . He then did his basic military service and then studied economics at the University of Hanover . He graduated with a degree in economics . He then worked for VGH Insurance until he moved into the state parliament . His employment relationship is suspended for the duration of his membership in the state parliament.

From 1991 to 1996 Dreyer was a member of the local council of Gleidingen. After that he was a member of the Laatzen city council until 2006. Since 2001 he was chairman of the CDU parliamentary group there. In the elections for the 16th Lower Saxony state parliament on January 27, 2008, he was elected in the constituency of 29 Laatzen (cities of Laatzen , Pattensen , Sehnde ) with 42.3 percent of the first votes as a direct applicant for the Lower Saxony state parliament. There he was a full member of the Committee on Budget and Finance and the Committee on Science and Culture. He was also a deputy member of the 21st parliamentary committee of inquiry (investigation of the events in the Asse II mine).

Dreyer has been the deputy chairman of the supervisory board of aquaLaatzium Freizeit-GmbH since the end of 2006 and was a member of the supervisory board of the housing cooperative Laatzen eG from June 2005 to June 2008 . He is married and has two children.

Christoph Dreyer left the state parliament on January 20, 2013. Silke Lesemann , who was defeated in 2008 , won the electoral district 29 Laatzen, Pattensen, Sehnde directly in the 2013 state elections with 42.9% of the first votes.
