Christoph Friedrich Fein
Christoph Friedrich Fein (* in Diemarden ; † 1761 in Hameln ) was a Protestant theologian.
Life
From 1734, Fein was initially a field chaplain. From 1736 to 1742 he was then pastor in Hanover-Bothfeld , then from 1742 to 1761 pastor of the garrison church in Hameln.
From 1748 he was an honorary member of the German Royal Society of Göttingen founded in 1738 , later the Göttingen German Society .
In his work "The unmasked fable from the exit of the Hamelian children" he tried in 1749 to prove the historical facts of the fable " Pied Piper of Hameln ".
