Christoph Klemens Maria Joseph Johannes Baptista Graf zu Stolberg-Stolberg (born January 22, 1888 in Westheim , † July 3, 1968 in Arnsberg ) was a German officer , most recently major general in World War II .

Life

Christoph Graf zu Stolberg-Stolberg was a German major general who came from the Harz counts of the Stolberg family. In 1943 he was a colonel in command of Division No. 160 in Copenhagen . In 1944 he was promoted to major general and appointed commander of the division staff e.g. V. 136.

family

He was the son of Hermann Joseph Graf zu Stolberg-Stolberg (1854–1925). He was married (marriage: September 27, 1916 in Baden near Vienna ) with Ida Countess von Orsini and Rosenberg (1891–1955), daughter of Maximilian Count Orsini and Rosenberg (1846–1922), from 1896 chief steward in the state of Archduke Rainer von Austria (1827–1913) , and Maria-Anna (1851–1921), born Countess zu Herberstein , widow after Sigismund Maria Graf von Khevenhüller-Metsch (1841–1879).
