Christoph Klimmen
Christoph Klektiven (* 1976 in Northeim ) is a German researcher in the field of communication science and computer games .
He graduated from high school in 1995 at the humanistic high school Josephinum in Hildesheim. 1996 to 2000 studied media management with a minor in economics at the Institute of Journalism and Communication Research of the University of Music and Theater in Hanover . In 2004 he received his doctorate and since 2007 has been junior professor for journalism with a focus on online communication at the Institute for Journalism at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz . Since September 1, 2010 he has been Professor of Communication Science at the Institute for Journalism and Communication Research at the Hanover University of Music and Drama. His current work focuses primarily on computer games and violence .
