Martin Leutke

Martin Leutke (born July 29, 1974 in Berlin ) is a German journalist .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1994, Martin Leutke began a two-year traineeship at the local radio station Stadtradio 107.7 in Stuttgart . He later worked for the station as a freelance radio and event presenter and as a concept writer.

In 1996 he switched to ZDF . Today he worked in the newsroom as a reporter . Between 2000 and 2004 he presented the daily information magazine Drehscheibe Deutschland as a moderator . In addition, he completed a degree in economics , which he graduated with a degree in economics . From 2003 to 2009 he moderated the heute news in the ZDF morning magazine at irregular intervals .

From 2004 Martin Leutke was mainly used as a reporter for ZDF abroad . For example, after the tsunami in India and the consequences of Hurricane Katrina from New Orleans , he also reported from the ZDF studios in Washington , Moscow , Beijing , Tel Aviv , Singapore , Cairo , London and Rome as well as from Sudan , India and Pakistan . From China he reported on the economic upswing in Asia for a 90-minute documentary . In Germany he gained experience in the ZDF studios in Hesse , Saxony-Anhalt and Saxony .

From 2009 on, Leutke was head of the ZDF state studio in Hessen. On July 1, 2011, Leutke took over the management of the ZDF business editorial team, succeeding Michael Opoczynski , with whom he moderated the show WISO alternately, from 2014 to 2016 with Sarah Tacke .

Since October 1, 2016, Leutke has been the new Head of Media Relations at the Lufthansa Group (as successor to Andreas Bartels).

Martin Leutke lives in Wiesbaden .
