Christoph Krupp

Christoph Krupp (born May 13, 1959 ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and political official . From March 24, 2011 to September 30, 2018, he was State Councilor and Head of the Senate Chancellery of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg .

Krupp is a son of the Hamburg Senator Hans-Jürgen Krupp . He is a graduate physicist and has a doctorate in the field of climate research / climate impact research. From 1995 to 1996 he was climate protection coordinator for the Schleswig-Holstein state capital, Kiel, and then until 2001 research assistant in the authority for urban development and the environment in the field of energy and climate protection. Until his appointment as State Councilor in the Senate Chancellery, Krupp was the district manager in Hamburg-Bergedorf . Since October 1, 2018, he has been the spokesman for the board of the Federal Agency for Real Estate Tasks (BImA).
