Christoph Kuhner
Christoph Kuhner is a German economist and professor for business administration (BWL). Since March 2000 he has held a chair at the "Seminar for General Business Administration and Auditing " ( trustee seminar ) at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Cologne .
Life
Christoph Kuhner studied economics (VWL) at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn , where he obtained the academic degree of Diplom-Volkswirt in 1989 .
He received his doctorate in 1993 from the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . His dissertation , published in 1994, was entitled "Business-Purpose-Related Valuation Concepts in the External Accounting of Companies" .
From 1993 to 1999, Christoph Kuhner was a research assistant at the "Seminar for Banking and Stock Exchange " with Hans-Jacob Krümmel at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn.
He completed his habilitation in 1999 at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and received the Venia Legendi for business administration.
Christoph Kuhner has been a full professor and chair at the "Seminar for General Business Administration and Auditing" at the University of Cologne since March 2000 .
Research priorities
Christoph Kuhner's areas of interest are economic analysis of accounting standards , economic analysis of corporate and capital market law, and company valuation .
