Christophe Laurent
Christophe Laurent (born July 26, 1977 in Mende ) is a former French cyclist .
Christophe Laurent began his professional career in 2002 with the French cycling team Jean Delatour . In his first year he finished second on a stage of the Tour de l'Avenir and won the mountain classification . At Paris – Nice 2006 he led the mountain classification for three days and in the end came second in the overall mountain classification behind David Moncoutié , who took off his jersey on the last day.
In 2004 Laurent took part in the Tour de France for the first time and finished it on the 134th, in his second participation in 2006 he finished 126th.
After the 2010 season, Laurent ended his career as an active cyclist.
