Christophe Le Mével
Christophe Le Mével (born September 11, 1980 in Lannion ) is a former French cyclist .
Career
Le Mével turned professional at Crédit Agricole in 2002 .
In 2005, Le Mével won the 16th stage of the Giro d'Italia after breaking away from a five-man breakaway group with an attack 1,500 m from the finish and finished the tour in 26th overall.
In 2009 he moved to Française des Jeux , and surprisingly finished tenth in the overall standings of the 2009 Tour de France . In October 2012, he moved to ninth place after a decision by the UCI through the disqualification of Lance Armstrong.
In 2011 Le Mevel finished ninth at the Flèche Wallonne and in 2012 fourth at the Clásica San Sebastián .
At the end of the 2014 season, Le Mevel ended his career as a professional cyclist.
