Ronde de l'Isard

The Ronde de l'Isard (also Ronde de l'Isard d'Ariège ) is a stage race in road cycling . It has been held in southwest France since 1977 . The race leads through the Ariège department in four stages and was initially reserved for national teams and drivers only. In 1982, foreign teams were also admitted for the first time . Since 1998 the competition as U23 riders has been reserved and in 2005 it was classified in category 2.2U of the UCI Europe Tour .
