District court Ettlingen

The Ettlingen District Court is a court of ordinary jurisdiction in Baden-Württemberg and one of eight district courts in the district of the Karlsruhe Regional Court .

Seat and District of the Court

The district court has its seat in Ettlingen . The judicial district includes the large district town of Ettlingen and the communities Karlsbad , Malsch , Marxzell and Waldbronn .

Courthouse

The court is located in the building at 26 Sternengasse . According to the year 1698 carved over the entrance door, the courthouse with its thick outer walls and deep vaulted cellars is over three hundred years old. In World War II, a department was here Gestapo housed.

Superior courts

The Karlsruhe Regional Court is superordinate to the Ettlingen District Court. The competent higher regional court is the higher regional court in Karlsruhe .
