Building of the Karlsruhe-Durlach District Court

The Karlsruhe-Durlach District Court is a court of ordinary jurisdiction in Baden-Württemberg and one of eight district courts in the district of the Karlsruhe District Court .

Seat

The district court building at Karlsburg-Straße 10 was built in 1875 and is now a protected cultural monument . The three-storey solid building with cornice , arched windows and a ground floor with studs was built according to plans by the Grand Ducal Building Inspectorate from 1868.

Judicial district

The independence of the district court alongside the district court of Karlsruhe is due to the fact that Durlach was an independent town until 1938. During the incorporation, the Durlach District Court was retained under the name of the Karlsruhe-Durlach District Court, as was the tax office.

In addition to the Karlsruhe districts of Durlach , Grötzingen , Grünwettersbach , Hohenwettersbach , Palmbach , Stupferich and Wolfartsweier , the judicial district also includes the communities of Pfinztal , Walzbachtal and Weingarten .
