Christopher Glyn, 7th Baron Wolverton

Christopher Richard Glyn, 7th Baron Wolverton (born October 5, 1938 - January 24, 2011 ) was a British nobleman and politician.

Life

He was the eldest son of John Patrick Riversdale Glyn, 6th Baron Wolverton and his wife Audrey Margaret Stubbs.

He was educated at Eton College and served as a lieutenant in the Grenadier Guards .

In 1961 he married Carolyn Jane Hunter. With her he has two daughters, Sara-Jane Glyn (* 1963) and Amanda Camilla Glyn (* 1966). The marriage later ended in divorce.

When his father died on July 4, 1988, he inherited his title of nobility, including the associated seat in the House of Lords . He gave his inaugural address in Parliament on November 23, 1989. He was a member of Parliament until the House of Lords Act came into force on November 11, 1999.

When he died on January 24, 2011 without male descendants, his nephew Miles John Glyn inherited his title of nobility as the 8th Baron Wolverton.
