Christopher Williams (photographer)
Christopher Williams (* 1956 in Los Angeles ) is an American photographer and conceptual artist .
Life
Christopher Williams studied at the California Institute of the Arts in the late 1970s to early 1980s under the first generation of conceptual artists such as John Baldessari and Douglas Huebler . In 1981 he finished his studies with a Master of Fine Arts . His first exhibition was in 1982 at the Art Institute of Chicago . In 2005 he exhibited together with Jeroen de Rijke and Willem de Rooij at the Secession (Vienna) and recorded the entire house.
Christopher Williams has been leading the photography class at the Düsseldorf Art Academy since 2008 .
