Title through the ages (1991-2017)

The Christopher is the official magazine of the Porsche AG . It is aimed at Porsche customers, Porsche fans and Porsche Club members. The magazine is distributed in thirteen languages and is one of the oldest customer publications in the world. Since the first edition in 1952, all issues have been numbered. Historical specimens are of great collectivity. The title itself has been modified several times over the years, such as upper / lower case, line breaks or the positioning of the title. The name goes back to Christophorus , who is the patron saint of travelers .

The magazine deals with topics related to Porsche, products and offers, history and motorsport . New models will be presented and an exclusive look behind the scenes will be thrown. Designers, developers and production experts have their say. The printed version of Christophorus has 100 pages and appears four times a year in German , English , French , Italian , Spanish , Polish , Portuguese , Dutch , Chinese , Taiwanese Chinese , Japanese , Korean and Russian .

Porsche sends most of its customer magazines to the USA, Germany and Great Britain. With issue 371, a circulation of more than 500,000 copies was achieved for the first time.

Since summer 2013, articles in the current issue have been published on the Porsche AG website. Earlier editions can also be found here in an online archive. Selected articles are also successively published every two weeks online in the Porsche Newsroom. All articles since issue 381 (2/2017) can be read on the official Christophorus website.

Additional content has been available online since issue 383 (4/2017) using the corresponding free app. After scanning the cover, the reader experiences the “ augmented reality ” of the magazine with videos, animations, graphics and photo galleries.

A large-format special edition of the booklet with reviews of older articles and the supplement of a DVD 70 Years of Porsche Sports Cars was published on December 3, 2018 on the occasion of the company's 70th anniversary. The second volume of the XL edition, this time focusing on the driver , was published in mid-December 2019.

Porsche AG is expanding its range of publications with the Christophorus Edition book series . It is aimed at sports car fans who are also interested in cultural, social or economic topics. Titles such as # 99x911 - Der Lebenslauf des Porsche 911, Porsche Reader No.1 - Food for Thought, The Porsche Art Book, Vol. 1, Christophorus XL-Edition and Christophorus XL-Edition 2.0 have appeared in the series.
