The Christ the King statue in Houches (Statue du Christ-Roi des Houches) is a 25 meter high statue of Christ in the commune of Houches in the Haute-Savoie department in France . It was built between 1933 and 1934 on the Roc d'Oran, a rocky outcrop on the northern slope of the Arve and can be seen from afar in the Chamonix valley .

Abbot Claude-Marie Delassiat, Catholic priest of Houches, was the initiator of this statue. He wanted to erect a monument that embodied the idea of ​​the papal encyclical Quas primas by Pope Pius XI. concretized, namely to proclaim the universal kingship of Jesus Christ. The foundation stone was laid in August 1933, the inauguration on August 19, 1934.

The monument was created by the artist Georges Serraz (1883–1963), who had previously designed the Cristo Rei in Ponta do Garajau (Madeira). It consists of reinforced cement and granite and weighs around 500 tons.
