The Christ Church in Reutlingen is a Protestant church . It stands in the suburb of Tübingen and was inaugurated on the 1st of Advent in 1936. It consists of Gönninger tufa and was also planned as a “concert church”. The Swabian Singing Circle under church music director Hans Grischkat had its home in this church. Eckhard and Renate Weyand stood with the “Christ Church Cantata Choir” in this tradition, which is still alive today.

Great works of church music and cantata services have shaped the Christ Church as one of the main focuses for church music in Reutlingen and the surrounding area. The “Cantemus Vocal Ensemble”, the women's choir of the Christ Church, is currently contributing.

The tradition of the Christ Church has also included the artists from the beginning, who were invited to illustrate the biblical message of the congregation with pictures and sculptures made of wood and stone. These were in particular Walter Kohler , Rudolf Müller, Helmuth Uhrig , Ulrich Henn , Martin Scheible , Rudolf Yelin the Elder. J. , Jakob Wilhelm Fehrle and Hermann Brellochs .

This tradition was continued: Gudrun Müsse Florin (altar window, 1989; Ambo with Antependien , 1992 with Paul Zimmermann). Insertion (1997) of the Way of the Cross of Reconciliation by HAP Grieshaber .

In the church tower there are four bells directly under the tower roof behind the window openings, including the earlier clock mechanism and a small tower room.
