Chrome is an American band from San Francisco , which mainly consisted of the two musicians Helios Creed and Damon Edge. The band's music developed from experimental music to psychedelic rock to electronic music that was sometimes danceable. After separating from Helios Creed in 1983, Damon Edge put together a completely new band in Europe. After Damon Edge's death in the summer of 1995, Helios Creed re-published material under the name Chrome. 1979's Half Machine Lip Moves was listed on The Wire's 100 Records That Set The World On Fire (While No One Was Listening) .
