Chrysaor (son of Glaucus)

Chrysaor ( ancient Greek Χρυσάωρ , "gold sword") is an eponymous hero of Greek mythology .

He is the son of Glaucus and the father of Idrieus and Mylasus . The Carian city near Stratonikeia is said to have been called Idrias Chrysaoris after him before it was named after his son. The surrounding country is also said to have been called Chrysaoris after him . Idrias was the cult center of the Carian god Zeus Chrysaor .
