The Chuan Peak is an approximately 2200  m high mountain peak on the Antarctic Ross Island . It rises 1.5 km northeast of Barker Peak in the southern part of Giggenbach Ridge .

The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2000 at the suggestion of the New Zealand geochemist Philip Raymond Kyle. The namesake is Raymond L.
