Chukovezer Island (English; Bulgarian остров Чуковезер ostrow Tschukoweser ) is a rocky, southeast-northwest orientation 1.22 km long and 0.46 km wide island 700 m off the southwest coast of Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is 7.22 km north to east of Cape Monaco and 6.8 km south of Gerlache Island .
British scientists mapped it in 1974. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it on 2013 after the town of Chukoveser in western Bulgaria .
