CiTi.TV was a private regional television broadcaster for the Saarland . The program was fed into the cable network nationwide.

CiTi.TV was the successor to the regional broadcaster Saar TV , which had been insolvent since February 2009 .

On January 31, 2012, CiTi.TV stopped broadcasting for economic reasons.

CiTi.TV produced regional programs for Saarland 24 hours a day. This consisted of interviews and surveys of the citizens on certain topics that were currently relevant, glances over the streets of the Saarland and recordings of important events such as politics, meetings or appearances in Saarland. The entire program was broadcast in 16: 9 .

The CiTi.TV program could be received on cable television , both analogue and digital (DVB-C) .

CiTi.TV was fed in in Saarland via Kabel Deutschland's cable network on special channel 40. CiTi.TV was fed into the cable network of wilhelm.tel GmbH and VSENET GmbH from June 29, 2011 to January 31, 2012 on special channel 2.

The CiTi.TV program was also broadcast live on the website until January 31, 2012 .

Setting the transmitter

CiTi.TV ceased broadcasting on January 31, 2012. The station justifies this with the poor economic situation for regional television stations. Apprentices at the broadcaster should be taken on by the State Media Authority of Saarland if they are suitable.
