history
Cicaré Helicópteros was originally founded by Augusto Cicaré as Cicaré Aeronautica SA in 1970. The company develops, produces and sells ultra-light and light helicopters, as well as helicopter trainers in small series. The helicopters are fully assembled and sold as kits. Augusto Cicaré had developed the first helicopter in South America in his home workshop and built several helicopters before it became commercially successful. The breakthrough came with the Cicaré CH-7 . On behalf of the Argentine army was CICARÉ CH-14 , a light observation and attack helicopter developed. In the meantime, Augusto Cicaré withdrew from the operative business, so that his two sons Fernando and Alfonso Cicaré now run the company.
