Cicaré Helicópteros SA is a helicopter manufacturer that mainly produces kits for self-assembly. The company is based in Saladillo , Argentina .

history

Cicaré Helicópteros was originally founded by Augusto Cicaré as Cicaré Aeronautica SA in 1970. The company develops, produces and sells ultra-light and light helicopters, as well as helicopter trainers in small series. The helicopters are fully assembled and sold as kits. Augusto Cicaré had developed the first helicopter in South America in his home workshop and built several helicopters before it became commercially successful. The breakthrough came with the Cicaré CH-7 . On behalf of the Argentine army was CICARÉ CH-14 , a light observation and attack helicopter developed. In the meantime, Augusto Cicaré withdrew from the operative business, so that his two sons Fernando and Alfonso Cicaré now run the company.

The Argentine President Mauricio Macri and the Governor of the Province of Buenos Aires Maria Eugenia Vidal visited Augusto Cicaré on March 20, 2017 and laid the foundation stone for an expansion of the factory
