Cihan Yasarlar (born January 17, 1993 in Berlin ) is a German - Turkish e-athlete who competes in this area under his first name Cihan . He is a member of the RB Leipzig esports team.

Career

Cihan Yasarlar was born in Berlin-Neukölln and is a trainee in retail. He was discovered for esports by SK Gaming in 2015 at the Internationale Funkausstellung , where he only "played a little for fun". Since the establishment of the e-sports department at FC Schalke 04 in May 2016, he has been a professional on the FIFA team of the Gelsenkirchen club. His coach was Joshua Begehr , a former world and European champion.

In February 2017 he won the FIFA Interactive World Cup Regional Finals , in April 2017 the Virtual Bundesliga and in May 2017 the ESL Spring Championship .

In August 2017, FC Schalke 04 announced that the contract with Cihan would not be extended. He was then introduced as a new addition to the newly founded e-sports department of RB Leipzig . After winning the ESL Spring Championship for the second time in April 2018, his contract was extended by one year until the end of 2019.
