Gabriele Cimmino (born February 26, 1971 ) is an Italian pool player .
Career
At the European Youth Championship in 1989, Gabriele Cimmino came third in the 8-ball . In December 2006 he reached the sixteenth finals of the Spain Open , but lost to the German Oliver Ortmann . At the German Open 2007 he was eliminated in the round of 16 against Tony Drago . In April 2008, Cimmino made it into the final round of the 8-ball world championship . There he lost in the round of 32 against the Swede Marcus Chamat . In addition, Cimmino reached the round of 16 of the German Open in 2008 and the round of 32 at the Netherlands Open . In March 2010, he finished seventeenth in 8-ball at the European Championships and came in endlessly 65th in 9-ball and 14/1 .
In 2010, Cimmino was part of the Italian team that was eliminated in the preliminary round of the Team World Championship .
