Cinzia Corrado

Cinzia Corrado (born January 25, 1965 in Supersano , Province of Lecce ) is an Italian pop singer.

Career

Corrado first appeared in 1983 when she became a finalist at the Castrocaro Music Festival. She signed a record deal with the label C & M from Bari and took in 1984 in the competition Un disco per l'estate part. She was also at the event Cantapuglia by Pippo Baudo involved. At the 1985 Sanremo Festival , moderated by Pippo Baudo, she then entered the newcomer category and just about achieved first place with the song Niente di più . In 1986 she released her debut album Col fiato a metà .

After the Sanremo success, the singer soon disappeared from the scene. This was possibly due to some nude photos published in the Novella 2000 gossip . From then on Corrado limited her activities only to the Salento . In 1993 she released another single, Regina . It was only in 2009 that she returned to television once again when she appeared again on Carlo Conti's show I migliori anni with her Sanremo winning song from 1985.
