Circle of Alchemists is a project founded in 2012 by the four musicians and music producers Flow, Bench, Domac and 2Familiar. In addition to various projects / features with other artists, the alchemists compose their own tracks from the fields of electro , pop , dance-pop , house and hip-hop . The alchemists are currently based in Cologne .

history

On their YouTube channel, founded in 2012, the alchemists regularly upload new tracks as well as VLogs and music videos. In addition, they use the Slaymassive channel on which they sporadically upload Let's Plays , which they record both in the group and with other Let's players such as Gronkh , Sarazar , MafuyuX or Mr Currywurst . They also share the channel with E-R1CH. The channel name is an allusion to the name of Play Massive GmbH . They also made guest appearances on various videos by other Let's Players. The band publishes their music on various MP3 platforms, including Amazon and iTunes, and places it under a free license , which, however, excludes commercial use.

In 2013, the alchemists co-composed the song Elektrotitte (5000 Volt) for Die Superhomies ( Gronkh and Sarazar ) , which landed at number 17 in the German and number 29 in the Austrian charts.

In addition to their collaboration with Gronkh and Sarazar, they also gained fame through the PietSmiet YouTube team , which occasionally uses the songs of the alchemists in their videos.

On December 31, 2014, the band released the song Ode an Dich together with Manuel Schmitt (SgtRumpel) under the band name Circle of Bequemlichkeit . The song is dedicated to Schmitt's community and belongs to the love metal genre . On January 30, 2015 the Alchemists released the track Tomorrow , their first single from their new album Lost Aurum . This was published on February 27, 2015 on their website. Her album Ingredients 2015 was released on August 21, 2015 .

In 2016 the alchemists founded the event agency Aerochrone in Cologne together with the YouTuber and DJ Sarazar and the organizer and DJ Björn Grimm, which also operates as a music label.
