Ciriaco Scanzillo

Ciriaco Scanzillo (* May 20, 1920 in Naples ; † May 31, 2004 ibid) was Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Naples .

Life

Ciriaco Scanzillo was ordained a priest on April 24, 1943 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Naples and titular bishop of Polymartium on March 23, 1989 . The Archbishop of Naples, Michele Cardinal Giordano , donated him episcopal ordination on May 13 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Luigi Diligenza , Archbishop of Capua , and Antonio Ambrosanio , Archbishop of Spoleto-Norcia .

On March 11, 1996, the Pope accepted his age-related resignation.
