Luigi Diligenza
Luigi Diligenza (born February 10, 1921 in Arzano , † May 25, 2011 in Capua ) was Archbishop of Capua .
Life
Luigi Diligenza was ordained a priest on August 8, 1943 . For many years he was rector of the seminary of Naples.
Pope Paul VI appointed him on March 1, 1978 Archbishop of Capua. The Archbishop of Naples , Cardinal Corrado Ursi , donated him episcopal ordination on April 23 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Tommaso Leonetti , Old Archbishop of Capua, and Gaetano Pollio PIME , Archbishop of Salerno-Acerno and Bishop of Campagna .
On April 29, 1997, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
