history
The publishing house began publishing English translations of early Cistercian (and similar) texts in 1968 . From 1973 to 2010 he was the in-house publisher of the Institute of Cistercian Studies at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, which was founded in 1973 and which became the Center for Cistercian and Monastic Studies in 2010 . The publishing program is now divided into three series of publications: Cistercian Fathers ( Cistercian Fathers , with translations of male and female authors), Cistercian Studies (Cistercian research, with scientific treatises), and Monastic Wisdom (monastic spirituality ). It is distributed by Liturgical Press , Saint John's Abbey, in Collegeville, Minnesota .
