Civil Air Navigation Services Organization
The Civil Air Navigation Services Organization ( CANSO ) is an international organization dedicated to matters of air navigation service providers ( Air Navigation Service Providers , or short ANSP's ) are used. The goal of CANSO is to be a global point of contact for all matters relating to air traffic control, especially those that go beyond national requirements, in order to achieve safe, efficient and economical air traffic control.
CANSO works closely with other global organizations such as ICAO , IATA and ACI , but also with regional organizations such as Eurocontrol .
CANSO is headquartered in Schiphol, Amsterdam Airport .
CANSO has two varieties members: full members ( Full Members ) and associate members ( associate members ). Only recognized air navigation service providers can become full members. Any other similar organization, such as goods suppliers, training institutes or airlines, can become an associate member, but this is at the discretion of CANSO.
