Cläre Prem , pseudonym Hanna Mann , (born August 30, 1899 in Duisburg-Ruhrort , † March 25, 1988 in Trier ) was a German poet .

Life

She gained fame primarily through her dialect poetry. Among other things, she invented the literary team Koorscht o Kneisjen , who were embodied for decades by the actors Werner Becker and Hans Kuhn on the stage of the Trier carnival society Heuschreck . In 1960 she received the seal of honor of the city of Trier for her services to the maintenance and preservation of the Trier style and language . It was also the Carnival Society that had the copper relief shown above attached to Prem's house in 1990 .

In Trier, Cläre-Prem-Straße is named after her.
