Claes Cronqvist (born October 15, 1944 ) is a Swedish former football player who now works as a coach .

Career

Cronqvist made his debut for Djurgårdens IF in Allsvenskan . In 1966 he was with the club of Swedish champions. In 1971 he moved to league rivals Landskrona BoIS , where he won the Swedish National Cup with the team in 1972 with a 3-2 win on penalties in the final against IFK Norrköping . With seven dismissals , he and Mats Rubarth hold the record in the Allsvenskan.

Cronqvist played 16 international matches for the Swedish national team . He participated in the World Championships in 1970 and 1974 .

After the end of his active career, Cronqvist moved to the coaching bench. He mostly looks after lower-class clubs such as BK Fram or Borstahusens BK , but was also active in his long-term play station Landskrona BoIS in the 1980s.
