Clapper of Works (also called Works Cairn) is one of around 80 Neolithic (around 2500 BC) entrance tombs built on the Isles of Scilly . It is on the Isle of Gugh , off the coast of Cornwall in England .

location

From the island of St. Agnes you can walk to the east via a raffle to the island of Gugh. The remote megalithic complex nestles into the southern slope of the hill of the same name.

Four capstones of roughly the same size are visible. The length of the chamber appears to be the entire diameter of the mound of about 9.0 meters.

There are two circular cairns about 65.0 m northwest . The southern end of Gugh has about 20 of them and two entrance tombs, the other is badly damaged and is called the Carn of Works.
