Uwe Ewers

Uwe Ewers (born March 24, 1944 in Bad Landeck , Habelschwerdt district ; † July 3, 2007 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Uwe Ewers attended secondary school and worked for the Deutsche Bundespost , from 1984 as a post office man. He joined the CDU in 1967. In the Berlin election in 1971 , Ewers was elected to the District Assembly (BVV) in the Reinickendorf district. In the following election in 1975 he was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives. After 14 years in parliament, he resigned in November 1989 because the BVV in Reinickendorf had elected him to the district councilor. Ewers remained a district councilor until 2006.
