The Clara-Zetkin-Platz is a town square in the Berlin district of Hellersdorf in the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district . It was created in 1995 and was named in honor of the politician Clara Zetkin on June 13, 1997. To the northeast of the square is the Kaulsdorf swimming pool (Clara-Zetkin-Weg 13).

layout

A large circular fountain in the center of Clara-Zetkin-Platz dominates the green area. The planning of the fountain was carried out by the architects Noack. Several stainless steel nozzles are grouped in the fountain bowl, from which fountains can bubble up to two meters high. Further fountains are arranged around the inner fountains, the rays of which can rise up to a meter. This creates a real water oasis with full pressure. A channel made of natural stone runs around the drainage area, which absorbs the water and lets it flow back into the pump system.

A large outside staircase leads to the ornamental fountain. There is seating around it. To the north and south of the fountain there are two large lawns with two rows of trees each. To the east and west of the fountain, two rose beds decorate the square. A footpath leads around it.
