Claude Lemoine

Claude Lemoine (* 1932 ) is a French chess player and journalist .

At the end of the 1950s, Lemoine was one of the strongest French chess players, he won the French championship in 1958 and took part with France in the 1958 Chess Olympiad in Munich , the student team championship in 1959 in Budapest and the Clare Benedict Cup in 1957 in Bern .

Lemoine then concentrated on his professional career, he headed the chess column for the newspaper Le Monde for years and was director of France Régions 3 .
