Claude Ozankom

Claude Ozankom (born May 9, 1958 in Idiofa ) is a Congolese fundamental theologian .

Life

He studied philosophy, Catholic theology and religious studies. After being ordained priest in 1989 and serving in pastoral care, he acquired the Dr. theol. ( Munich ) and in 1995 the Dr. phil. (Munich). After his habilitation in 1999 for fundamental theology, ecumenical theology and religious studies (Munich), he taught as a private lecturer (Munich) and guest lecturer (Congo) from the 1999 summer semester . From March 1, 2003 he was Professor of Intercultural Theology and Studies of Religions ( University of Salzburg ). On October 1, 2006, he became Professor of Fundamental Theology, Philosophy of Religion and Theology of Religions ( University of Bonn ).
