Claudia Bitter

Claudia Bitter (born June 23, 1965 in Antiesenhofen , Upper Austria ) is an Austrian writer , translator , artist and librarian .

Life

After graduating from high school in Ried im Innkreis in 1983, Claudia Bitter went to Vienna, where she still lives. There she studied Slavic Studies and Ethnology. She has published in magazines and anthologies since 1991, and her first book was published in 2001. She writes poetry and prose, which she sometimes combines with drawings and collages to form so-called word images (self-definition). Your work has received several awards. She is a member of the IG Authors and Authors and the Podium literature group.
