Claudia Irrgang (born August 5, 1978 ) is a German speed skater . The long-haul specialist has set three track records that are still current today. In 2001 she ran 4: 38.00 over 3000 meters and 7: 55.75 over 5000 meters on the Kometa TSBKS in Kolomna, Russia . And in 2012 over 5000 meters with 7: 43.16 in the Norwegian Furumo Stadium Geithus .
In 1998 she was awarded the Chemmy in the category of young athletes of the year by the city of Chemnitz .
