Claudia Schwartz

Claudia Schwartz (* 1963 in Graz ) is a Swiss journalist and author . She's since 1994 feature - an editor at the Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ).

Life

Claudia Schwartz studied German literature , philosophy and literary criticism at the University of Zurich after graduating from high school . During this time she gained her first journalistic experience as a film critic . In 1994 she joined the NZZ feature section . From 1998 to 2008 she worked as their cultural correspondent in Berlin . From 2008 to 2013 she was part of the founding team of the newsroom in Zurich and continued to work as an author for the features section. Since 2013 she has been an editor in the features section again. Schwartz is a book author on the history and architecture of the Swiss embassy in Berlin's government district .

She is married to Eric Gujer , editor-in-chief of the NZZ.
