Claudia Villiger (2012)

Claudia Villiger (* 1963 in Zurich ) is a linguist and professor for technical editing at the University of Hanover .


After studying at Saarland University , Villiger worked as a freelancer in the areas of corporate communication and technical documentation. There she did her doctorate in 2001 with Erich Steiner. From 1996 she took on teaching positions at the Hanover University of Applied Sciences (today Hanover University ). There she worked for a few years, first as a research assistant, then as a substitute professor. Since 2008 she has been a professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology there.
