Claudio Masin (born March 15, 1958 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine actor and film director .

Life

Masin was born the son of an Italian immigrant who worked as an entrepreneur in Argentina. He attended the Academia de Arte Dramatica in Buenos Aires and acted in telenovelas. In 1980 he moved to Europe and became one of the main characters in the series Un'ora per voi , which was produced by RAI . This was followed by other Italian and international engagements with directors such as Robert M. Young , Sidney Hayers and Pasquale Squitieri .

As a director, he directed several commercials and documentaries before making his cinema debut in 1998 with Soft Air , which was also shown at the Cannes Film Festival . It was his only long directorial work; Masin continued his career in other television and film roles.
