Claus-Henning Redicker

Claus-Henning Redicker (* 1935 in Röbel / Müritz ) is a German Anglicist.

Life

He studied business administration , economics , law and English . He was a trainee in Hamburg and London , trainee lawyer, assistant professor and counselor at the State Foreign Language School Hamburg and senior academic councilor at the University of Hamburg . From 1980 to 2000 he taught as professor for business English at the University of Hamburg, Institute for English and American Studies.

His focus is on business English as a "decision-oriented regional studies" d. H. Economic culture, economic history and economic philosophy in the Anglo-American economic area, micro and macroeconomics as well as business law (especially corporate law in the UK) and international management in connection with the technical language of business English.
