Claus Beling

Claus Beling (* 1949 in Prenzlau ) is a German television journalist and editor .

Life

After graduating from high school, Beling studied German literature , literature and journalism ; in 1976 he completed his studies with a doctorate at the University of Mainz .

Beling has been working for ZDF since 1973 , where he was editor in the main editorial team for “TV play and film” until 1985 . From 1985, he was responsible for the main editorial area "Series and series for the evening before". Since 1991, Beling has headed the main editorial department for “Entertainment Word” at ZDF and is thus involved in the success of several series and TV films. His greatest successes include the film series based on the novels by Rosamunde Pilcher and Inga Lindström . The England connoisseur Cornwall writes crime novels under the pseudonym Thomas Chatwin.
