Claus Koch (writer)

Claus Koch (* 1929 in Munich ; † November 3 , 2010 in Berlin ) was a German writer and journalist.

Life

Koch came from a middle-class family and grew up in Munich. He studied philosophy, economics and various humanities. After that he initially worked for a business publishing house.

Since 1959 he has worked as a freelance journalist for the press and radio, and since 2003 he has built up his own media service , Der neue Phosphoros . In the 1960s Koch edited the monthly magazine "atomzeitalter", later he was co-editor and editor of the magazine for social science " Leviathan " and collaborator on several social science research projects.

Most recently he lived as a freelance journalist , essayist and non-fiction author in Berlin .
