Claws is a Finnish death metal band from Joensuu that was formed in 2008.
history
The band was founded in August 2008 by Lasse Pyykkö, who plays all instruments. A short time later, his friend Billy Nocera joined them, who wrote the lyrics for the songs. Pyykkö recorded the EP The Funeral Barge , which was released in 2009 via Doomentia Records. In the same year the debut album Absorbed in the Nethervoid was released . The LP version was released by Doomentia Records , while the CD version was released by Razorback Records .
style
The band plays classic death metal, which is comparable to groups like Abhorrence or the Swedish band Crematory.
