Clemens Lammerskitten (born April 27, 1957 in Osnabrück ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life and politics

Lammerskitten was an administrative clerk at the municipality of Wallenhorst from 1974 until the election to the state parliament in 2008 . In 1979 he made his Abitur at an evening grammar school in Osnabrück on the second educational path . From 2001 to 2008 he was department head for “Citizen Service and Social Affairs” in Wallenhorst. He lives with his wife and two children in the Hollage district of Wallenhorst .

Lammerskitten has been a member of the CDU since 1996 , for which he ran for mayor's office in his home municipality of Wallenhorst in 2006. Here he was defeated by the incumbent Ulrich Belde ( SPD ).

In 2007 he was nominated as a direct candidate in constituency 75 (Bramsche) for election to the Lower Saxony state parliament on January 27, 2008. In the election he won his constituency with 43.8% of the first votes. Since then, the employment relationship with the municipality of Wallenhorst has been suspended. In the state elections in 2017, he was unable to keep his constituency, but entered the state parliament again via the state list.
