Clemente Sánchez
Clemente Sánchez (* 9. July 1947 in Monterrey , Mexico ; † 25. December 1978 ) was a Mexican boxer in the featherweight .
professional
He began his professional career in 1963 and won his first two fights on points each. He lost his third fight against Frankie Gutierrez over 10 rounds on points.
On 19 May 1972 he won the WBC -Weltmeisterschaftstitel when he the Japanese Kuniaki Shibata difficult in a scheduled 15 round battle as early as the third round ko suggested. He lost the belt in December of the same year to José Legrá by TKo in the 10th round.
In 1975 he ended his career.
